My Liverpool flat is for sale - any takers?

Hello

I decided to set up this blog because I'm putting my Liverpool property up for sale, with a hope to sell it without the need for my estate agents, who don't seem to be doing alot for their hefty commission.

Here's the lowdown on the flat:

Price £134,950 (recently reduced)

This flat must be seen - it's spacious, modern and well-built with wooden floorboards and high ceilings, in a fantastic area, it has a great little garden and the neighbours are friendly pensioners.

If you would like to come around and take a look, please don’t hesitate to contact me to arrange a viewing:

Price

£139,950 (Leasehold)

Address

125 Aigburth Road, Liverpool, Merseyside, L17.

Location

The flat is located on Aigburth Road in the suburb of Aigburth in South Liverpool, just outside the city centre.

Aigburth is, according to the Guardian:

“...more your boho, villagey kind of place - all craft markets, self-help groups and reiki, where they drink locally reared organic nettle soup with recyclable spoons. It's where artsier Liverpudlians retire: they're tired of the urban grit, and want the pleasures of leaves and grass, and birds tweeting out of the trees...”

Transport

The area features excellent transport links. The flat is near to St Michael’s station (10 minute walk) and sits right on a main bus route into the city centre and Liverpool John Lennon Airport.

You are a 10 minute drive away from the M62, and a 10 minute drive from Liverpool John Lennon Airport.

Things to do

Sefton Park is situated behind the flat, with the entrance to the park just a 2 minute walk away.

Otterspool promenade is less than a mile away, where you can walk from Garston Dock to Otterspool Park. Worth it for the sunsets alone.

Up the road is the ever-popular Lark Lane. The street is famous for its cafes, bars, boutiques, bistros, music venues, farmers market and flea market. Lark Lane has a bohemian reputation that can’t be found anywhere else in Liverpool.

Schools

Good: a reason for moving here. "Good" primaries include St Charles' RC and Sudley, with Booker Avenue Junior "good - with outstanding features", says Ofsted. St Margaret's CofE High School for boys is "very good", with St Hilda's CofE High School for girls at Sefton Park "effective".
